Privacy Policy

RevealRoll is a disposable-camera app for events. Hosts create an event, guests scan a QR code to take photos, and the photos reveal together at a set time. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it across our website and iOS app.

Account information. When a host signs up we collect an email address and authentication credentials, managed through our authentication provider (Supabase).

Photos and event content.Photos taken by guests, along with the event name, comments, and likes, are stored so they can be revealed and shared with the event's participants.

Guest session data. Guests join anonymously with a device-scoped session token; we do not require guests to create an account to participate.

Notification tokens. If you opt in to web notifications, we store a push subscription token so we can alert you when an album is ready.

Payment information. Paid plans are processed on our website by Stripe. We do not store full card details; we keep a record of the plan purchased and payment status. Purchases are not available inside the iOS app.

Usage analytics. We use privacy-friendly analytics (Vercel Analytics) to understand aggregate usage and improve the product.

We use your information to operate the service: authenticate hosts, store and reveal event photos, process payments for paid plans, send the notifications you request, and keep the app secure and reliable.

Photos and comments are user-generated. We provide tools to flag and remove objectionable content, and we remove content and may suspend accounts that violate our terms. We have no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users.

We share data only with the service providers needed to run RevealRoll — our hosting and database provider (Supabase), payment processor (Stripe), and analytics provider — and when required by law. We do not sell your personal data.

Event photos are retained according to the event's plan and may be automatically deleted after the retention window unless extended. You can delete your account and associated data at any time from your account settings, or by contacting us at support@revealroll.com.

RevealRoll is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
